The Sydney Opera House in Australia is one of the most famous performing arts venues in the world. The building and its surroundings form an iconic Australian image. This is a number one must-see view for Tourists. Tourists, most with no interest in opera, visit the building just to see it in person. The Opera House was formally opened by Queen Elizabeth II on October 20, 1973. It has five theatres, five rehearsal studios, two main halls, four restaurants, six bars and several souvenir shops.
